“The 2021 Clos Cantenac has an attractive nose with pretty raspberry, wild strawberry and light minty aromas, less reductive than it showed out of barrel. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresh entry and crisp acidity, turning toward black fruit on the finish with light tertiary notes and decent salinity. This is a very commendable Saint-Émilion in a challenging growing season. ” – Neal Martin, Vinous

Clos Cantenac Bordeaux Rosé Elégance 2022
R695.00 inc. VAT
"Elégance rose - 100% Merlot - once again, the team behind Elégance rosé shows why, if you want good Bordeaux rosé, they are setting the pace. Pale barely-there blush in colour, savoury fruit of redcurrant and pink grapefruit, with rosebuds and a trace of white pepper spice. This is elegant and moreish." - Jane Anson
Clos Cantenac L’ Exuberance Rosé 2022 Magnum
R620.00 inc. VAT
"The 2022 L'Exuberence is pure Sémillon, aged 70% in stainless steel and 30% barrels, and has a light gooseberry and orchard fruit-scented nose. The palate is simple on the entry, perhaps lacking the tension found in the 2021, but there's decent depth with a sour lemon twist on the finish." - Neal Martin, Vinous

Château Séraphine Pomerol 2020

Château Séraphine Pomerol 2020, "This wine is made from 100% Merlot and is being aged in French oak barrels, 40% new, for 12-14 months, with a portion fermented and aging in a 1,000-liter clay amphora. The alcohol came in at 14%. Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2020 Séraphine sashays out of the glass with gorgeous notes of candied violets, dark chocolate-covered cherries and raspberry preserves over a core of juicy black plums and fertile loam, plus a waft of truffles. The medium to full-bodied palate is packed with earth-laced muscular black fruits, supported by firm, ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and mineral tinged. 3,200 bottles are due to be made." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Advocate
