"Elégance rose - 100% Merlot - once again, the team behind Elégance rosé shows why, if you want good Bordeaux rosé, they are setting the pace. Pale barely-there blush in colour, savoury fruit of redcurrant and pink grapefruit, with rosebuds and a trace of white pepper spice. This is elegant and moreish." - Jane Anson
Petit Cantenac Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2021 Jeroboam
"The 2021 Petit Cantenac has quite a plush nose of truffle- and leather-tinged red fruit, touches of sandalwood coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with plush tannins, and quite smooth and sensual – oddly New World in style, in a good way. This will have what the French call " - Neal Martin, Vinous

Clos Cantenac Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2021 Jeroboam
"The 2021 Clos Cantenac has an attractive nose with pretty raspberry, wild strawberry and light minty aromas, less reductive than it showed out of barrel. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresh entry and crisp acidity, turning toward black fruit on the finish with light tertiary notes and decent salinity. This is a very commendable Saint-Émilion in a challenging growing season. " - Neal Martin, Vinous

Champagne Pol Roger Brut Réserve Non-Vintage Magnum
Champagne Pol Roger Brut Réserve Magnum, “Pale yellow. Toasty melon and white peach on the nose, with orange zest and dusty minerals emerging with air. Lively, mineral-laced citrus and orchard fruit flavors show good palate-coating intensity without any excess weight. The clinging finish displays a subtle floral quality and repeating orange and melon notes.” – Josh Raynolds, Vinous
Champagne Pol Roger Brut Vintage 2016 Magnum
"Pale yellow with silver highlights, the wine produces an alluring effervescence that rises from a cord of fine persistent bubbles. An especially open and expressive nose begins with notes of dried fruit, cocoa, almond and coconut. Allowed to breathe, notes of yellow fruits such as Mirabelle plum and eau de vie add complexity to the nose which, though young, is rich and promising. The palate is exceedingly fresh. Crisp acidity gives it a strong backbone that carries right through to the finish. Those aromas of dried fruits from the first nose persist, with nuances of citrus, lemon and bitter orange completing the palate and reinforcing the youth of the wine. On the finish, subtle notes of confected fruits come through, in particular candied orange peel." - Winemaker's notes
Champagne Lanson Le Vintage Brut 2012 Magnum
"Disgorged in July 2018 with seven grams per liter dosage, Lanson's 2012 Brut Le Vintage offers up aromas of golden orchard fruit, crisp green apple, fresh bread and warm biscuits, followed by a medium to full-bodied, racy and vibrant palate with a fleshy core of fruit that's underpinned by the house's trademark acid spine. Long and penetrating, it stands out as a notable value in the world of grande marque vintage Champagne." - William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
Domaine Lionnet Cornas Terre Brûlée 2021 Magnum
Domaine Lionnet 2021 Cornas Terre Brulée 2021 Magnum, "Youthful purple. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh black and blue fruits, star anise, olive, violet and tobacco. A smoky mineral accent builds steadily in the glass and energizes the spice-laced, dark berry liqueur, smoky bacon and floral pastille flavors that are underscored by a vein of juicy acidity. Clings with strong tenacity on the youthfully tannic finish, leaving behind sappy blue fruit, cracked pepper and mineral notes. " - Josh Raynolds
Champagne Lanson Noble Cuvée Brut 1998 Magnum
"Light yellow. Rich and smoky, with deep pit fruit aromas enlivened by zesty minerality. Round and fleshy, with peach and poached pear flavors braced by slow-mounting spiciness and citrus zest bite. Takes on a firm character on the finish, which is refreshingly brisk and impressively persistent. This could stand some patience but is plenty of fun to drink now. " - Josh Raynolds, Vinous
Domaine Lafarge-Vial Fleurie La Joie du Palais 2020 Magnum
"Domaine Lafarge-Vial Fleurie "Joie de Palais" 2020, This is exceptionally pretty, indeed blind it could easily pass for a wine of pure Pinot rather than 100% gamay with its cool and layered aromas of various red berries, spice and soft pepper wisps. There is even better refinement to the detailed and minerally if slightly less complex flavors that conclude in a dusty and mildly austere is solidly persistent finish. Lovely." - Allen Meadows, Burghound
Champagne Lanson Le Vintage 2009 Magnum
"Disgorged in February 2017, Lanson's 2009 Brut Vintage is more immediate than its 2008 predecessor, bursting from the glass with notes of citrus oil, green apples, fresh peach and wheat toast. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and charming, it's bright and penetrating, but also comparatively giving and approachable for a young-vintage Lanson." - William Kelly, Wine Advocate
