Trapet Sonnenglanz Pinot Gris Grand Cru 2015

R650.00 inc. VAT
Trapet Sonnenglanz Pinot Gris Grand Cru 2015, "From the heavy, well-structured and very stony calcareous soil of the 33-hectare Grand Cru and harvested on September 27, the 2015 Sonnenglanz Pinot Gris offers a clear, delicate but dense and elegant bouquet of fresh, ripe fruits. Fermented in stainless steel, this is a clear, fresh and mineral, very elegant Pinot Gris, offering a fruity sweetness combined with a lot of finesse and a lingering salinity. The tannins are fine and the wine reveals good tension. A terrific Pinot Gris that should be aged for another seven years to gain even more complexity and reduce the sweetness a bit." - Stephan Reinhardt, The Wine Advocate

Trapet Ambre Gewurztraminer Macéré 2018

R485.00 inc. VAT
"The dress is orange. The disc is shiny, limpid and transparent. For a macerated wine, the wine presents a very beautiful youth! The nose is frank, pleasant and intense with notes of dried fruits and citrus peel. The palate is suave and balanced by the soft tannins, why not try it on hard cheeses, blues, bitter crusts, chocolate desserts. And for the more adventurous, with saffron and spicy dishes. It is a perfect wine to associate with dishes which call for tannins and fine silky bitterness." - Producer Note
