It's pure Tempranillo from old, head-pruned vines in Ollauri, Haro and Villalba. It fermented with uncrushed grapes and neutral yeasts and was kept in concrete for three years and then another three years in Caucasian oak barrels, followed by a further 12 months in French barriques. This year, it shows a little bit too ripe and oaky for my taste, with a powerful palate and abundant tannins that gave it a faint rusticity.
