Colmant Cap Classique “Absolu” Zéro Dosage Non-Vintage

R839.99 inc. VAT
"Taut, linear, focused and appealingly bone dry, this all-Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs uses 16% "perpetual reserve" material dating back to 2006 and partial barrel fermentation of the base wine to create added complexity. Mouth-wateringly tangy and chiselled with salted lemon, biscuit and cashew flavours and thrilling palate length." - Tim Atkin MW

Colmant Cap Classique Brut Rosé Non-Vintage

R330.00 inc. VAT
"Labelled as a non-vintage MCC, this is dominated by base wine from the 2021 harvest. Marrying Pinot Noir from Franschhoek and Stellenbosch with 25% Chardonnay from Barrydale, Elgin and Franschhoek again, this benefited from the inclusion of 15% reserve material. Fresh, light and easy drinking with creamy bubbles and citrus and raspberry fruit." - Tim Atkin MW

Colmant Cap Classique Délice Nectar Non-Vintage

R325.00 inc. VAT
"Elegantly luscious yet still classic, this blend offers an exotic twist to the Colmant style. Franschhoek, Robertson and Elgin fruit were used in the 52% Pinot Noir and 48% Chardonnay blend. A portion (10%) of the wine underwent fermentation in French oak barrels and 20% of reserve wine from previous vintages was blended in to enhance intensity and complexity. Maturation time on lees is 24 months minimum. The wine was then degorged with the addition of a generous liqueur de dosage which added a unique twist to the gentle aroma and flavour." - Winemaker's notes

Colmant Cap Classique Blanc de Blancs Non-Vintage

R395.00 inc. VAT
"Colmant's pan-regional Blanc de Blancs combines Chardonnay components from Bonnievale and the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Racy, stony, chiselled and showing a lot of what the Champenois call "tension", this is a lower dosage style that will age convincingly in bottle." - Tim Atkin MW
