Château de Saint Cosme Micro-Cosme Grenache/Pinot Noir Non-Vintage
"We have now been experimenting with Pinot noir blended with our Grenache Solera for three years. It's an old idea which gradually took shape thanks to a wonderful source of Pinot noir we were able to access. So from this year, the wine is truly transitioning from the style of the Little James Basket Press (with Grenache made in the Solera style) to the Micro-Cosme style which is a proper blend of Grenache and Pinot noir. I should point out that the 'Grenache' part continues to be our wonderful Solera. The fusion of Grenache and Pinot is a great classic in the history of wine which I would like to resurrect. The two varieties, seemingly so remote in terms of character and the regions where they thrive, are actually fraternal twins which resemble each other and make good bedfellows." Winemaker's notes
Prosecco San Leo Brut Non-Vintage
Colour, bright pale straw-yellow; a fine, clear mousse with a very delicate perlage. Bouquet, Attractively intense, very fruity and aromatic, with hints of wisteria flowers and Rennet apples. Flavor, very well-balanced and appealing, with the extremely delicate almond note that is typical of Glera grapes. - Winemakers notes
Domaine de Triennes Rosé 2021
Domaine de Triennes Rosé 2021, "This wine has a bouquet of strawberries and white flowers with hints of vanilla. It has the harmony and elegance that has earned world-wide appreciation of the rosés of Provence. Triennes Rosé is the perfect accompaniment to a sunny summer afternoon." - Winemaker's notes
ABOUT THE GREAT DOMAINES STORE
The backbone to our success lies in the direct and personal relationships we have with each one of our producers and domaines. This bond allows us the privilege of importing wines that you would struggle to find elsewhere in the fine wine market, especially Burgundy. We value these relationships very highly and make at least one trip each year to visit our producers and maintain these relationships, as well as keep up-to-date with the goings-on in the vineyard.
