Commendatore Giovanni Battista (G.B.) Burlotto founded his eponymous winery in 1850 in Verduno, a historic village in the Barolo region of Piedmont, Italy. The winery, originally housed in an 18th-century building, quickly gained recognition for producing some of the finest wines in the Langhe region.
