"Closed with spices, herbs and earth aromas underneath a layer of charry oak. Mocha and tea. Very intense extract with pronounced, but ripe, tannins. Plenty of layered dense cassis and black cherry fruit to support, but powerfully closed and deep at this stage. This is going to demand, and repay, some keeping, but will be an accomplished wine in a few years’ time for sure. Rich, spicy long finish with some clove and liquorice, as well as a freshness to the acidity." - Tim Atkin MW Bordeaux Report.
