Tasting Notes

"The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Stellenbosch comes from a granitic outcrop, matured in one-third new oak barrels for the first year and 2,000-litre Austrian oak vats for the second. This has a very attractive bouquet with a mixture of red and black fruit, touches of iris flower and potpourri emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with strict tannins that surround a core of black cherries and blueberry fruit that lend it a graceful and persistent finish. As usual, this is more successful than the Cabernet Franc." - Neal Martin, Vinous
