"Just bottled before the harvest. A pretty purple of medium depth, but it is the nose which is striking with a burst of pinot fruit, backed by a little meatiness from the gamay. The latter also delivers more acidity. Crunchy strawberry fruit at the back, absolutely lovely. If you want a brilliant bottle from chez d’Angerville at an affordable price, look no further.
