"This cuvée, bottled just three days before my tasting, has a residual sugar somewhere between 70 and 80 g/l. The watchwords here are purity and freshness, with scents of white peach, mango, citrus and tropical fruits, along with some exotic mineral veins, but overall there is a suggestion of admirable ripeness. The palate feels classically formed though, textured and fresh, styled with bright acids giving it a delicious tension. Fine primary fruit complexity and a fabulous structure mean this should develop quite beautifully in the cellar." - Chris Kissack
