Tasting Notes

"Firstly, the 2019 Arbois En Barbi from Domaine du Pélican, the Jura winery owned by Guillaume d’Angerville. This is initially pretty neutral and demands coaxing. It opens with beeswax, simple and orange blossom scents, hints of chai and Chinese white tea. The palate is lent nerve by a touch of sour lemon, with lovely balance and fine purity on the neutral finish. Word of advice – give this an hour’s decanting before pouring." - Neal Martin, Vinous
