"The 2018 Saumur Brézé Clos des Carmes derives from vines planted on a south-facing parcel. It offers up a delicate, deep bouquet with aromas of ripe pear, herbs, iodine and orchard fruit intertwined with an elegantly flinty character. Full-bodied and concentrated, layered and seamless, it's a lively, rather muscular wine with a fleshy core of fruit and a delicate, long and salty finish.
