"Silky, perfumed cherry fruit, great finesse and elegance, yet there is also structure and length here. This wine is truly a top village-level Gevrey. Laurent Lignier biodynamically farms just over one hectare in the village lieu-dit of Les Seuvrées. The vineyard is located just below the Route Nationale, to the east of grand cru Mazoyères, and the vines were planted between the 1930s and the 1960s. In my view, the result is far above village-level." - Decanter
