Tasting Notes

"The 2020 Syrah Single Vineyards Series Steepside comes from a north-facing slope planted at 400m above sea level on rocky, clayey soils, matured for 22 months in 225-litre barrels. It has quite an open nose with red plum (apparently planted on the site pre-vine!), raspberry and white pepper scents. Impressive definition. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip, very harmonious, black pepper sprinkled over the red fruit with a touch of thyme and sage on the finish.
