This presents a great sense of integration and harmony here, with delicately bitter citrus fruits layered with pressed pear and smoky green apple. This translates into a palate which feels tense, smoky, reserved and vibrant, despite having a supple and gently polished texture. It rides along on a great drive of energy and acidity, seemingly shrugging off any notion that this was a warm vintage.
